Jason Haam is pleased to participate in Art Basel Hong Kong 2022 with a solo booth of works by Cheikh Ndiaye. Ndiaye’s paintings allude to the socio-political history of Urbanism in West Africa in the context of rapid economic development—providing visual interpretations of the connections between formal and informal architecture and the occupation of space and people's daily habits. Portraying the divisions between the public and the private, interior and the exterior, this presentation will bring together visual and physical interpretations of Cheikh’s documentary approach.
Public days to the fair are from May 28 - 29 and private view days are from May 25 - 29, with a vernissage scheduled on May 27. For more information about the fair and opening hours, please click here.
